Waela Ghonim Speaks Out on the Muslim Brotherhood

Ghonim says that the current demonstrations were not started by the Muslim Brotherhood.  They joined days after it started.  In all likelihood, it was started by a group of well-educated, well-off, secular youths, like Ghonim.  Ghonim said that the Muslim Brotherhood is welcome to join them and that they compose of about 10-15 percent of the protesters.  He said that they have been falsely portrayed as a "bogeyman" by the Egyptian and United States governments to justify the harsh tactics used against protesters in the past.
